I’ve had a busy August getting the shop ready for autumn/winter and as I mentioned last month, I have been extending my fabric range too, you may have seen my post on social media. Most of them are on line, so please take a look at the fabrics page, I have a range of cotton poplin dots and patterns, click on the button at the top of this page.
Last month, I also mentioned that I had sold out of all my sewing machines, good news, I have replenished and have a good range in, please click on the link to go straight to the page. If you fancy doing more sewing, in mid September Tilly and The Buttons are launching a Lotta dress which is a simple dressmaking project for all sewing levels.
Rowan have kept me busy with their autumn/winter launch, as the days are getting cooler you may want to pick up your needles again and Rowan can help with ideas. I have the mag 68 and the new Mode which I’m sure will be filled with some enticing patterns. Furthermore I have some new big wool shades and a book to be inspired by.
Let’s enjoy the last warm nights of September before Autumn arrives, sit out and grab your needle, hook or thread and let’s get ready for some cosy garments
Love Tina x

My love of making and creating has taken me through a very interesting career path. From designing and making wedding and ball gowns to soft furnishings for my home.
With over 20 years experience working in the haberdashery trade; starting with a bespoke bridal designer followed by years of refining my craft at Rose & Hubble and more recently Coats Crafts, I have always loved and thrived in each job's environment.
There is so much satisfaction in creating things for yourself and over the years I have found that teaching and encouraging other people to learn new skills is very important to me. I am a mother to a beautiful and creative daughter who amazes me each day and I hope I can encourage her like my mother did me, to create and explore the world of craft.
