It’s been a busy start to the new term. Daughter back in school and getting my shop ready for the coming months as we head into winter.
Now that our windows and doors have closed and we’ve added a layer to keep us protected from the crisp mornings, it’s definitely time to settle in and get crafting for the winter. I have so much to offer, my head is spinning with excitement.
I’ll start with the fantastic new Rowan Big Wool Brights, the colours will brighten up any dull rainy day (click on the link). There’s also an addition to our Rowan Felted Tweed family with the Kaffe Fassett range.
Adriafil has expanded with some delicious autumnal colours, if you haven’t walked past my window to see the display then check my Instagram as it’ll inspire you no doubt.
If knitting isn’t for you, then my fabric range is getting larger; Harry Potter print and (maybe a little bit early) some absolutely gorgeous Christmas fabric. There’s nothing wrong with starting on some Christmas projects early. If prints aren’t what you’re looking for, please check out the Rose & Hubble solid cottons.
Before I sign off a couple of other notes, I have sewing machines in stock (also on the website), hours have gone back to normal and I’m still posting out or delivering items if you prefer to stay home.
Take care and stay safe.
Love Tina x
Welcome to our new website!
We are a small family run business, based in the oldest indoor market in Worcester. You'll find us in the lovely 'The Gallery' (previously known as The Market Hall) in the heart of Worcester.
We stock an extensive range of knitting yarn, craft cotton fabric, some garment making fabrics, knitting needles, crochet hooks and sewing accessories to help you complete/achieve your favourite projects. Or you can come in and browse through a range of knitting and crocheting patterns/books if you are in need of inspiration. We also hold workshops for a variety of projects for beginners and intermediate levels.
My love of making and creating has taken me through a very interesting career path. From designing and making wedding and ball gowns to soft furnishings for my home.
With over 20 years experience working in the haberdashery trade; starting with a bespoke bridal designer followed by years of refining my craft at Rose & Hubble and more recently Coats Crafts, I have always loved and thrived in each job's environment.
There is so much satisfaction in creating things for yourself and over the years I have found that teaching and encouraging other people to learn new skills is very important to me. I am a mother to a beautiful and creative daughter who amazes me each day and I hope I can encourage her like my mother did me, to create and explore the world of craft.
House of Haby is a stockist for all haberdashery, dressmaking, sewing and tailoring supplies. We continue to supply our customers with hundreds of high quality products from leading worldwide brands.
You'll find an exquisite range of yarns and a wide selection of knitting accessories, as well as craft and dressmaking fabric including sewing and patchwork accessories.
To help you make a choice for your next project, we have a wide range of knitting patterns and books, search press publications and a small selection of indie patterns.
